Specialties

I practice Family Medicine, Addiction Medicine, and Psychiatry. Some people see me for one specialty, some for two, and some for all three. We don’t put Addiction or Psychiatry on the sign outside of the clinic because when you come to see me no one know if you are seeing me for hemorrhoids and heroin and it is none of their business either way.

Research

2006-2007 Investigator in the Tegesteride Clinical Safety Trial

2002-2003 Principle Investigator in a quality improvement project designed to increase screening for domestic violence at the St. Luke's Family Practice Residency Program

1996-1997 Graduate research in Biochemistry (studying cholesterol) at California State University Sacramento
